Hi Rich, Two years ago I purchased a 1971 GB36 with a 120 Lehman engine.
This engine has almost 4700 hours on it and runs perfectly. I think that I
probably do use 1 qt. of oil every 20 hours. I usually add some oil every
4-5 hours of use. The diesel guys that I talk to, indicate that a well
maintained engine can last 10,000 hours or more.
