T&T: NOAA Proposes Killing Off the ICW Magenta Line

Kevin,
If their survey data is out of date, couldn't their magenta line be
inaccurate? It is my impression that the Coast Guard has trouble tending
the buoys and the ICW markers to keep up with Nature's changes plus the
occasional dredging?
